The association operates on a delegate
system of governance with the state of Massachusetts divided into
five areas. Every two years the members of each area are asked to
elect 15 representatives from their area to serve as
Delegates.
Delegates meet monthly except February,
July and August to conduct business. While any member is encouraged
to attend any meeting, only Delegates may vote on issues brought up
at a Delegate's meeting. On various occasions, however, meetings
will be held that are Full Membership Meetings. At these meetings,
all regular voting members present may participate in any vote
taken.
